Support Cindy's Fight Against Breast Cancer

My name is Toni. My beautiful and courageous friend Cindy is the mother of two and grandmother of five. She is the one that always goes the extra mile to make sure that her family and friends feel loved and appreciated on holidays and special occasions, Easter and Christmas are her favorites. Even though she still works full time, she is always there to give a helping hand to care for her grandchildren whenever needed. Cindy is simply a ray of sunshine when she enters the room and has been one of the most valued friends I have ever had. She is a woman of great faith and loves the Lord. I myself, suffered the tragic loss of my 26-yr old granddaughter 12 months ago and she has been faithful in praying with me and for my family every Wednesday afternoon no matter how busy she is.... she has truly been the example of what a loving, caring friend is.... and now she is the one that needs someone to walk with her through an incredibly difficult time. About 3-months ago Cindy felt a small lump in her right breast. She scheduled a mammogram; they called her to return for an ultrasound. It did not seem that it was a serious issue until the MRI. She was diagnosed with invasive lobular breast cancer. She went from hoping that it was just going to be a simple lumpectomy to "We have to take everything, a total mastectomy with no hope of reconstructive surgery for at least 6-months." How could this be happening? She was not a smoker, no family history of breast cancer and always good about exercising, took lots of good vitamins and supplements, but yet, the news just kept getting worse. Her mastectomy has been scheduled for June 19th. We kept praying for a "better way" to deal with her cancer and she remembered a website she saw about an alternative cancer treatment center in Scottsdale, Arizona by the name of "Envita". www.envita.com After reviewing the website and talking with them on the phone, she became very excited to learn about their great success in treating all kinds of cancer and Lyme's disease, even those who were in stage 4 cancer and had exhausted all efforts with chemo and radiation. Cindy now has an appointment with Envita for June 5th! They will have all of her medical records and will be able to give her an accurate prognoses for her outcome with a non-invasive, targeted therapy. Unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that her insurance will pay for any part of the expenses, which we are expecting to be in the low 6-figure range. This is why I am starting this GoFundMe page. Please give some thought about giving to this fund, but most of all we would value your prayers for healing and a good outcome for this amazing alternative treatment for her cancer. She is an amazing mother, wife, grandmother and friend. Thank you for your contribution of any amount and for your prayers.
