Emerline's Recovery
Emerline Tabares was leading a normal active teeanage life early this spring. She was finishing her Senior year of high school where she was a Varsity Lacrosse player, a Varsity Cheerleader and looking forward to attending Montclair State to major in Child Advocacy and minor in Criminal Justice when an accidental fall led to a visit to the emergency room.
The results of an MRI discovered a tumor on her brain. The doctors were optimistic that with the removal of the tumor she should be 99% cured.
Emerline recently had surgery to remove the tumor and is on the road to recovery.
Emerline lives with her mother, who is raising Emerline and her 2 siblings on her own.
On August 14th, Tyler McDonald, Vinnie Marciano, Justin Viotto and Jamie Viotto will be swimming across Lake Hopatcong (approx 7 miles) to raise funds to help Emerline's family defray the cost of the mounting medical bills.
Friends and family, we welcome all prayers and support for Emerline and her family. Please consider contributing to Emerline's recovery fund.
