Hi our names are Belia and Gabriela daughters of Ana. Our story starts on December 4th when we get sad news that my moms dad our grandpa passes away in Mexico. While we were out there our mom started to get a cold with chills and fever. We thought nothing big of it, the next day she woke feeling more sick. We took her to a clinic out there and they told us she seemed she had a stomach infection and was dehydrated. After they gave her some medication and an IV we saw that she was stable to come back home to Indio CA. On the way she seemed she was ok just complaining her hands were cold and that she felt very weak. During our drive home she started to complain that she felt pressure when she was breathing, we still had about an 1hr and 40 min until we got home. We asked if she could make it until we got home and she told us no, so we rushed her to the nearest hospital which was in El Centro, CA. We thought we would only be here for a few hours then be able to take our mom home. In a matter of 2 hours our moms health took a turn for the worse. They had to sedate and intubate her and told us that our mom was in very bad shape and that she was going to be admitted. The doctors were doing a lot of tests to find out what was wrong with our mom. My sister and I kept asking what was wrong with our mom and nobody could give us a straight answer. We have been stuck in El Centro since December 6th with our mom in ICU. During this time neither my sister nor I have been able to work because we have been at our moms bedside having to make very hard and serious decisions regarding our moms health. We are asking if any one would like to donate to help us out during these times.
