Uodate.: We meet with a surgeon next Thursday to see our options. Hi, My name is Buddy. I am 5.5 years old, human years that is. Mom and dad have had me since I was 8 weeks old. As you can see in the pictures, I am very active. I love to swim and fetch sticks, and I love to fetch balls, oh and I am a digger. Love to dig in the sand at the beach.On Monday I was out doing my normal playing, fetching the ball and something happened. My back legs wouldn’t work. Dad found me trying to scoot my body across the yard and he and mom rushed me to the hospital. 1000.00 later the nice Dr told them I have Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) Rupture. Basically both my knees ruptured. Dr. Says I need surgery. And the bad part is it will be around 8000.00 per leg. Last year I got bit by a rattlesnake and I cost them 1400.00 then. They must sure love me. Mom kept saying they need to get me insurance but you know how procrastination is. It gets you no where. Oh no. Some people have said just put me down and like dad said, “would you just put your kid down”. Didn’t think so. So, here we are, humbly asking for help so I can have surgery and be able to run, swim, dig and fetch my favorite ball. Please help my mom and dad. Love Buddy
