Myles is a gift from God. He loves to ride his horse Dolly, spend time with his family, play catch, sit in the sunshine, he loves animals of all kinds. These are limited moments in the midst of daily severe suffering. He is non verbal. He does communicate however, something powerful to the world around him every day, how a simple smile even in the darkest grey skies and storms of life, light up the world, and point to the simplest and beautiful gifts from God.
Myles is 11 years old and severely, medically fragile. He has suffered from many medical challenges, including severe epilepsy, and more. Daily (and through the night) multiple, from small to grand mal seizures and a compromised immune system which brings on a continual struggle.
He belongs to a beautiful, dedicated, family who surround him with intense love, and wisdom they are given by God to care for him around the clock in a thousand ways. We can empathize with the hardship and trial so deep for a mother's heart, a daddy's heart, brothers and sisters.
Those who know them, see the beauty of God's grace that gives strength to keep fighting. Over the years, this family has sought out the best of the best medical care for Myles, natural, diet, medical, all encompassing, trying every possible provision by God to bring healing.
There is an immediate need. The seizures are intensifying, ongoing, and threatening to his life. The family is considering a few possibilities of professional specialized help in new ways from new doctors who have worked with children very much like Myles and have had excellent results and healing. This could very well include travel, lodging, test expenses, and much more for the provisions needed to get Myles and family this crucial help. To receive this high quality, specialized care, will require a lot of financial provision. They are diligently and prayerfully considering a few options and plan to make decisions as quickly as possible.
