This week, Kristina, a bright and loving young girl, experienced a sudden medical emergency that has left her and her family facing unexpected challenges. She is currently receiving treatment, but the road to recovery will require both time and financial support.

Heres a little about Kristina’s story:

Kristina suffered an unwitnessed seizure for an unknown period of time at home during which time she had the flu and a fever

She was transferred to the hospital and suffered another large seizure

She had to be intubated and during this time had multi organ extreme inflammation. The flu and seizure severely affected her liver, kidneys, heart and brain…

she was transferred to two different hospitals. She developed a blood clot in her arm and several in her head , she has underwent many tests and still undergoing many more

She was extubated Monday and suffered extreme confusion paranoia didn’t recognize her parents..

She is starting to make slow gains
