On Saturday May 28th an unimaginable tragedy struck our family. An electrical house fire and actions taken during "rescue" resulted in the loss of life of our 12 year old Zyaire (Zy) and our 9 year old Lamar (Bobby.) At this time the circumstances surrounding the rescue are under investigation.
Unfortunately, no investigation can bring these loving, joyful, beautiful boys back to us.
Both boys fought with their mother, and family by their side before there was nothing else that could be done and they had to be removed from life support. Nothing, absolutely nothing could prepare us for this outcome. We prayed and we begged God to spare these loving brothers but Heaven needed them more. What else can we tell ourselves to process such grief?
Zyaire ascended to Heaven on Wednesday June 1st. Lamar ascended 2 days later on Friday, June 3rd.
They left behind a grief stricken community of loving family and friends.
Now we are met with the hurt of not one homegoing but a homegoing for two brothers, at the same time, on the same day, with extremely broken hearts.
We are asking for anyone who finds it in their heart to please donate to the funeral expenses so our boys can have a proper send off and to make things as easy as possible on their immediate family.
