Revelstoke Accessibility Project

The Revelstoke Heritage Railway Society was founded in 1988.  We are a non-profit society and registered charity, and we opened the Revelstoke Railway Museum in 1993.

The Revelstoke Heritage Railway Society’s mission is to collect, preserve, and interpret the history and significance of the Canadian Pacific Railway Company within the region, for the education, enlightenment and inspiration of present and future generations through operating the Revelstoke Railway Museum.

The museum directly serves and supports the community of Revelstoke and partners with many local organisations and businesses.  The Revelstoke Railway Museum is recognised as one of the best small railway museums in Canada, able to attract over 20,000 visitors annually.

We are in the process of starting the walkway and elevator accessiblity project, and hope to complete the project before the end of summer.

Any funds would be gratefully received as we are excited to make the entire facility accessible to all.

Please contact me with any questions about the project, or if you need a charitable donation tax receipt for your donation.
