Saludos a todos, mi nombre es Anel. Tengo 48 años y casi 4 años en una lucha con mi salud, pues los médicos, (los meses de espera para citas) y la atención médica aquí no pueden ofrecerme lo que necesito.

*Tengo un diagnóstico de Meningioma hipofisiario con extensión al nervio óptico.*

Estoy enfrentando un meningioma paraselar agresivo que está afectando mi nervio óptico y mi glándula pituitaria.

Este tumor ya me quitó la visión de un ojo y estoy perdiendo visión en el otro donde sufro fotofobia extrema. También estoy experimentando dolores fuertes de cabeza constante, mareos, pérdida de balance, confusión, convulsiones focales, cambios hormonales, insomnio, tinnitus, depresión, ansiedad extrema y síntomas neurológicos que empeoran cada semana.

Mis últimos MRI muestran que el tumor creció, envuelve arterias críticas, presiona el quiasma óptico y está poniendo mi vida y mi vista en riesgo. Los documentos que comparto aquí son evidencia oficial de mi diagnóstico.

Necesito tratamiento especializado de manera urgente, y viajaré a USA.

Estoy moviendo todo lo posible para acceder a cirugía con Gamma Knife y recibir atención en un centro que tenga todos los especialistas que necesito y pueda manejar este caso con seguridad. El proceso es costoso, e incluye viajes, hospedaje, copagos, estudios, citas, traslados médicos.

Estoy pidiendo ayuda porque ya no puedo sola.

Hello everyone, my name is Anel. I am 48 years old and have been fighting for my health for almost four years. Unfortunately, due to long waiting times for appointments and limited medical care where I live, I have not been able to receive the treatment I urgently need.

I have been diagnosed with a pituitary meningioma with extension to the optic nerve.

I am facing an aggressive parasellar meningioma that is affecting my optic nerve and my pituitary gland.

This tumor has already taken the vision in one eye, and I am now losing vision in my remaining eye, where I also suffer from extreme light sensitivity. I experience constant and severe headaches, dizziness, loss of balance, confusion, focal seizures, hormonal changes, insomnia, tinnitus, depression, extreme anxiety, and neurological symptoms that worsen every week.

My most recent MRI scans show that the tumor has grown. It is encasing critical arteries, compressing the optic chiasm, and placing both my vision and my life at serious risk. The documents shared here are official medical evidence of my diagnosis.

I urgently need specialized treatment and will be traveling to the United States.

I am doing everything possible to access Gamma Knife surgery and receive care at a medical center with the multidisciplinary specialists required to safely manage a case this complex.

The process is costly and includes travel, lodging, copays, medical studies, appointments, and medical transportation.

I am asking for help because I can no longer do this alone.
