Noah’s Battle

Friends and family,

We’ve created this GoFundMe for our friend and brother, Noah. Life has thrown him an intense curveball, and we’re asking for your urgent prayers and support.
Whether you’ve known Noah for a few days, a few years, or his whole life, you know he has a tender heart, loves his people relentlessly, and is the most giving human you’ll meet.

He’s been living the life of a commercial fisherman, and after a month-long unknown illness, he was admitted to the hospital in Crescent City on February 28th with debilitating symptoms: he is unable to walk, has a fever and joint swelling, and has an extreme rash and blisters spreading throughout his extremities.

Due to the increasing severity of the symptoms and the gravity of many questions yet to be answered, he was flown to OHSU in a state of emergency for more specific and intensive treatment. He is being seen by cardiologists, rheumatologists, dermatologists, and internists—all who continue to do bloodwork and wait for biopsy results. They have also repeated the echocardiogram and are looking at other heart testing.

Thankfully, Noah is stable, but he is in an incredible amount of physical pain—having no concept yet what the financial burden continues to become as these diagnoses progress. Despite these circumstances he still has a smile on his face and is keeping all the nurses happy with his quick wit.

So we are reaching out to you, family and friends, for encouragement, for prayer, for financial help.

All we can do is lean on the Lord’s provision, and we’re asking you to prayerfully consider if you’re able to bless Noah financially. All funds will go directly toward covering the ambulance rides, the emergency flight, and any and all OHSU medical expenses. Every single donation counts, no matter how large or small. Every dollar will mean something to us and to Noah.
