Adam is in need of a Stem Cell Transplant due to having re-occurring cancer. He do not ask for anyone's help EVER! Adam prefers to handle things on his own. Cancer is and has been much bigger than he is. The hospital bills are gargantuous. Adam has been battling cancer for over a year now. After the first regimen of chemo, we thought all was well and life would return to normal only to find out his cancer was back and more aggressive than originally. Adam has been under an immunotherapy drug along with a different regimen of chemo. The stem cell transplant is needed to put him in remission as the chemo alone just isn't enough. His body is not responding to it the way the doctors had planned. Adam has always been the giver and the one to help others in need. This time, he is the one in need. With the stem cell transplant, he will be in the hospital for a month. There is so much preparation for this procedure and the costs are unbelievable as 2 of his injections are $20,000 per week. He does have dual insurance but it has not been enough. The hospital has drained both bank accounts and more. He would be most grateful to whomever is willing to help. This procedure will save his life. Before cancer, Adam was so full of life, funny, constantly on the go, a hard worker, and such a teddy bear. The past year has drained all of that from him.
