Delaine Wilmore Goïto passed Saturday, June 25th, 2022 from the complications of leukemia and kidney failure. She leaves behind her two children, Amandji and Mahuwena Goïto. Delaine was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, and grew to become a kind, intelligent, and loving soul. She had a voracious appetite for knowledge and made it her purpose to spread that knowledge through education. Her mantra was " To seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave", and she embodied that every day of her life.

Our family is experiencing several challenges due to the demands of our mother's medical complications and her abrupt passing. We ask that friends of our mother and our family express their support with financial donations so we may pay for the burial that our mother wanted. We hope to receive messages supporting us during this challenging time.

A celebration of Delaine's life is being planned. We will provide updates as we receive information.
