Support for Bruce's Family

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this story.
The story is not about me, but rather about my close friend Bruce Kwak and his family. I have been friends with Bruce since our high school days over 10 years ago. He is one of the kindest, most hard-working and genuine people that I know. The kind of friend that would come to your rescue in any situation and expect nothing in return.
This time, he desperately needs our help. In 2014, Bruce’s father tragically passed away in a boating accident. At around the same time, Bruce’s mother was diagnosed with colon cancer. During the past year, Bruce’s sister, Elaine, has been taking care of their mother as she was receiving chemotherapy in Arizona. Bruce has been going back and forth from LA to Arizona to be there for his mother as much as he can while working to provide financial support. Initially, the treatment seemed to be working well as she went into remission. However, in a sudden turn of events, the tumors came back and she is now considered to be terminally ill. She has a small chance of recovering and her options are limited. Currently, the doctors are working to determine which procedure would be best, surgery or more chemotherapy. This sad news came to Bruce and to us a few days ago.
In response to this difficult situation, our group of friends has decided to set up a fund to help Bruce and his sister. We will be keeping Bruce’s family in our prayers and will be there to support him emotionally and in any way that we can. We also understand that in situations like these, financial support can go a long way in dealing with medical, travel, basic necessities, and
any other expenses that may come about in this fight against his mother’s cancer.
Please keep Bruce and his family your prayers and we hope that you can help his mother fight the battle by donating. The money raised will be used to fund chemotherapy as well as the possibility of undergoing life-saving surgical operations.
