2nd Annual Matthew J. Harris Memorial Scholarship

Hey guys,
I’m Connor Corsi, one of Matt’s friends from Palmer High School and teammate on the football team. I’m excited to announce the 2nd Annual Matthew J. Harris Memorial Scholarship. I have created a GoFundMe page to allow others to join our team with the goal of raising as much money as we can for PHS scholarships. Last year we were very successful in awarding two PHS seniors, Ashlynn and Evan, $1000 awards on Scholarship Night. As a community lets come together and do our part in ensuring that this year's group of graduates are put in a position where they can succeed.
Matt was a great teammate, Marine and friend to many and its a great honor to be able to continue this scholarship in his name. While even today it is still difficult and painful to process the events that led to Matthew’s passing; I believe that the opportunity to give back to graduating seniors, continue to preach the importance of suicide awareness and ensure our buddy Matt is not forgotten is something to feel very excited about.
