We need Boats!

Our Story:

Castleconnell Boat Club is a community rowing club based at the Worlds End, Castleconnell. The club draws it members from County Limerick, County Clare and County Tipperary as we all are connected by the River Shannon. We are exceptionally lucky to have an amazing stretch of river that our club calls home and hosts many events. We are dedicated to fostering a passion for rowing among our junior and masters athletes a like. We believe that rowing instils valuable life lessons, promoting teamwork, discipline, and a strong work ethic while nurturing physical and mental well-being.

Our junior and masters rowing programs has a proud history of success, consistently producing talented athletes who have gone on to compete at national and international levels. However, our aging fleet of rowing boats is in dire need of replacement, hindering our ability to provide our young rowers in particular with the equipment they need to excel.

Our Goal:

We are seeking €100,000 to purchase new rowing boats for our rowing program. The funds will also help with maintaining our existing equipment. The boats will enhance the training experience for our current rowers and, ensures the continued growth and success of our rowing program.
