Our hearts are heavy as we confirmed this morning the loss of Dave and Ermelina’s home from the Camp Fire.  Dave and Erm were known for opening up their home to friends and family; it was a gathering place for BBQs, holidays, celebrations and more. Anyone that knows them knows that you wouldn’t want to miss out on Dave’s BBQ and Ermelina was always so hospitable.  Now all that remains are the memories of times spent there that we will cherish forever.  November 8th they received a call from a neighbor about the fire and were fortunate to get out when they did.  We are so grateful they are alive and safe. They left with only the clothes on their backs.  Like the many other residents of Paradise, they lost everything and while many of the items are irreplaceable, many have reached out to ask how they can help. If it is on your heart to donate, the money they receive can at least address immediate needs such as clothing, toiletries, food and other day-to-day necessities. Your generosity is appreciated.
