Hi, my name is Tiara I’m fundraising for my son kai. I’m trying to take him for stem cell treatment. Any donations would be appreciated!

On May 14th 2022 my life changed forever! My 16 year old son, a sophomore in high school, was handed multiple pills by a trusted family member. He admired this family member and curiously tried one of the pills. One pill caused my son to go into cardiac arrest. We later received the toxicology report that he took a 30mg Percocet mixed with Fentanyl. I watched as my son fight for his life and continues to fight daily. He now has multiple disabilities! I’m always doing research ,my family and I have purchased things to aide in his recovery. We also took him for stem cell treatment in Kansas. I have seen a lot of progress from his treatment; in which insurance will not cover. We are attempting to do a second round of stem cells and other treatment options. This tragic situation is one of many that was caused by the opiod epidemic. As a mother i will always fight for my son. I will not give up on his recovery. Drugs have affected me in so many ways, losing my brother at 30 and other family members. We all understand how the fentanyl epidemic has affected us and various families across the world. I hope kai’s story will be heard to save lives and bring change to others. Our youth are making bad decisions that they don’t fully understand the consequences of. I do know that my son still being alive is a true blessing!
