Maple is a 17-month-old tuxedo cat. She loves to spend her days sunbathing, napping, and playing with her favorite ball or stuffed mouse. Unfortunately, she started to not feel well and wasn't acting like herself. Our normally social and cuddly kitty became reserved; and lost all interest in eating, playing, or spending time with us. She was admitted to an animal hospital where it was discovered that she may have an intestinal blockage, and will need surgery to remove it. If she doesn't get the surgery, it will be fatal for her. All treatments at the hospital, including IV fluids, pain management, a contrast test, and the surgery itself, come out to the eye-watering amount of $8300. My girlfriend and I cannot feasibly afford this large of a bill on our own, so we, and Maple, are asking for your help. She is very young, and we cannot fathom losing her so soon and to such a painful condition. Any amount of donation is greatly appreciated and we thank you for your support in this trying time.
