As I’m sure you’ve seen our beloved town Lahaina has been decimated by a raging fire and 80+mph winds on Tuesday night.

2,700 homes and businesses are nothing but dust. Along with an undetermined amount of souls, some of which I knew and loved.

Chef Jake and myself (wife Kendell) are safe. We live north of Lahaina and our condo was out of the fires path.

Unfortunately, thousands are not so lucky including my elderly mother, sister and two young boys who barely escaped with nothing but each other.

We personally know hundreds of people in this exact situation and worse.

The level of loss of homes, businesses, animals and loved ones is inconceivable.

We have started a Gofundme and the money will go directly to my family and the other families we personally know who have lost everything.

Lahaina is a very special place. As you may have remembered, where I was born and raised. What makes this place so special is the People and the businesses they created. Without that it may as well be Waikiki. I am determined to help get them back on their feet and keep it that way.
