Right now, there’s a small colony of stray cats living nearby. At least 4–5 of them are female, and some have already had kittens. Without help, those kittens will grow up and have kittens of their own… and the cycle will keep repeating.

One unspayed cat can lead to dozens—sometimes hundreds—of cats over time.

I’m working to humanely trap, spay/neuter, and return (TNR) the adult cats so they can live healthier lives and stop the cycle of endless litters. The kittens will be brought to SNIP or the Arizona Animal Welfare League, where they can receive care and hopefully find loving homes through adoption.

The problem is that there is currently ZERO state funding for trap–neuter–return programs, which means people like me who want to help these cats have to cover the costs ourselves.

Getting the kittens to rescue so they can be adopted
