For the people who know me and for the people that don’t’ yet, my name is Patrick Thomas I am the owner of The Rock Gymnastics Training Center. I opened the gym last year after almost 20 years of coaching gymnastics. It was a good first year for the gym as we grew and had many of our competitive gymnasts are winning first places in several competitions. Then summer came and gymnastics is slow in the summer. It made for a hard end to the first year. We are now growing again, but we are struggling like many new businesses do. We are going into the second year a little behind and without any extra money to put into the gym anymore. What has made this such a hard process is that I have done this all on my own and which is hard on a coaching salary and without the support of any bank. As they all told me that they had never worked with a new gymnastics facility and because of that they could not help and for the one that could if I got to a certain point and I did decided they did not want to help anymore. I have also had a couple of unforseen issues, whick I would be glad to tell you about if you want to know more.
I have been working another full time job putting in over 16 hours each day between all my jobs to be able to help keep the gym running.
I ask now for your help, which is something that I am not us to doing. But for anyone that has ever known a gymnast and to know how much they enjoyed it. To all my former gymnast and parents that I have coached over the years. I ask for you support in a dream that I have held and now living I ask for your support in any way that you can, if it is $25, $50 or more. With the goal of 100 people giving $100.
