B.C.Rain Football Uniforms
Donation protected
The B. C. Rain Raiders went farther in the 2014 Alabama High School Athletic Association than any public school in Mobile County. Eight seniors received scholarships. They accomplished this in uniforms that will be ten years old this year. It is time for friends and alums of B. C. Rain to contribute to a fund that will allow the purchase of new football uniforms for these athletes.
There is also an account at BBVA Compass Bank on Dauphin Island Parkway for football team uniforms. Richard Burton and Sandra Hayes head the committee for this fundraising effort, both represent families of loyal B.C. Rain alums. Other committee members in clude Betty Fowler and Dr. Carolyn Lee Taylor, retired educators.
Both of these fundraising accounts are for the sole purpose of buying uniforms for the football team and will be closed when the funds are expended. Any leftover funds will be turned over to the athletic department of the school
