Ok, it's update time: Today was my 35th day waking up in the hospital, the longest time that I have ever been in the hospital in my life. I got to discharge from Reliant that is now Healthsouth at noon today. I think Mickey Bynum was more excited than I was about gettting to come home. I am thankful to get home, but there are a lot of changes that face us. I am having to learn how to move around the house in the wheelchair and the walker. I move pretty slow right now, but that's ok. It's hard for this very Independent woman to have to depend on others to do things. For anyone that really knows me, I am a lot OCD so I like things in their place and it drives me crazy when they are not, so this is also something that God is trying to teach me, that it's ok to ask for help and to be a little more ok with things not in their place.
We have several things that are ahead of us, My bladder still doesn't work so an appointment to the Urologist has already been scheduled for next Tuesday. Home health will be coming so hopefully I won't loose a lot of the therapy that I got at the facility. I know that I am going to have to do a lot of exercise on my own too so that I can keep my body moving and going. My legs and feet still don't have all the feeling back in them, but I know that is just a matter of time until it comes back. I know that God has a plan for us and we are trying to be open to what that plan is going to be. Please pray for us we need to move this month, since I lost my income so that we can try to cut cost. Pray that God will guide us to where we need to go because our time is running out. God has done so much to me in this journey that I am on and I know that He is not finished yet. I know that He told me to fight Satan hard and finish him and that is what I plan on doing. I want to thank all of you for your love, your encouraging comments and your support.
