Support Willow's Road to Recovery

Hi, I’m Amy/Mimi and this is my best friend Willow.

Willow and I have been on many adventures together, and we spend 24 hours a day by each other’s side. She is my constant comfort. She knows when I am sad, when I am happy, and helps me get through life. I don’t like to leave her, even to go to the grocery store.

My plan has always been to train Willow to be my service animal. She already instinctively knows when I am not feeling good and will comfort me, find help, etc. She is my absolute world

As you may know I was laid off a few weeks ago. A week later, Willow required surgery for a large abscess. She had stitches and open wounds that required care. She has been on many medications since.

Last night I discovered another abscess on her. This will likely require another surgery as it is very painful for her and is in a spot that causes her to limp. The vet also mentioned a potential scan that will be pricey.

I feel like I am drowning a little. I don’t have a job and my bills are piling up. Willows care is expensive and I am trying really hard to keep it all together, but it’s getting harder.

I know times are tough all around. It’s a crazy world we live in right now. Asking for help sucks, but I don’t know what else to do. It’s for Willow, so I will. Help me help my best friend. She deserves to live her best life. I can’t wait to see her run and catch her ball again. She can’t wait for that either.
