Hi, I'm Julie. Darla has been my dear friend since the '70s and dedicated her life to the service of others as an RN and mother to 5 wonderful kids. I'm starting this GoFundMe for Darla to help with the many expenses she is dealing with after being diagnosed with brain, bone, lung, and lymph node cancer in August of 2024.

She needs our help more than ever after the lung cancer mutated into differentiated pleomorphic carcinoma.

Due to the differentiated pleomorphic carcinoma diagnosis, she is now receiving treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.

The financial burden has become insurmountable. She has a 20% co-pay on treatments and medications, not to mention the cost of travel such as fuel and maintenance, hotel expenses, food, etc.
