Hi!

My name is Phoebe and I live in a purple van with my cat Juno. Recently my van broke down while I was on my way to the food bank. Needless to say, I'm struggling financially. I got myself towed to a garage but it seemed that the issue was bigger than I originally thought and my van needs a whole new engine. This leaves me in a difficult situation.

I am currently receiving benefits because I am undergoing trauma therapy online and am not able to work right now. It worth noting that the longer I stay at this garage the more therapy I'm going to have to miss because the garage has basically no signal! I have found an engine that would work for me but I just can't fund it right now.

Which brings me to you beautiful people! I have done some research and a replacement engine would be around £700 plus the labour cost.

I've always been a grafter and very independent so it's difficult to ask for help, but in this case I really have to. I don't have anywhere else to stay either so I really am stuck here until I can find the money for a replacement engine plus labour cost.

I am also asking for some help in buying a caravan or maybe staying in a hotel for a while until this is all sorted out, so I can continue my therapy dispite the vehicle breakdown. Also as winter is pretty much arrived and I have no way to heat my van home! I have a burner but it isn't safe to use it where I am and I can't use my diesel heater because I can't get diesel!

As you can see I'm a bit stuck and really asking for some help. Anything would be appreciated!
