Please help Noah

Hello everyone,

This is one of the hardest things a parent can write.

I am asking for help for my son, Noah — not because we want more than others, but because without your help, he simply cannot live a life outside four walls.

Noah is 9 years old. From the very first moments of his life, he has been fighting battles no child should ever have to face. He was born with multiple severe and life-limiting conditions, including hydrocephalus, encephalopathy, holoprosencephaly, Dandy-Walker syndrome, and VACTERL association. These include a malformed oesophagus, heart defects, intestinal malrotation, anal atresia, a single kidney, missing thumbs and forearm bones, severe spinal deformities including scoliosis, missing spinal discs, and suspected spina bifida, which is still being investigated.

In addition to all of this, Noah lives with epilepsy. Despite treatment, he suffers from multiple seizures week, often unpredictable and exhausting, placing enormous strain on his fragile body and daily functioning.

Noah is catheterised five times every day. He lives with a PEG , a jejunostomy awaiting surgical closure in London (leak and very pain Noah )and an ileostomy that has collapsed and also requires surgery. He has a central line through which he receives total parenteral nutrition (TPN), because his digestive system no longer works properly.

Two years ago, Noah was admitted to a hospital in Glasgow, where he spent a year and a half receiving intensive treatment. After that time, he was transferred to a hospital in London for life-saving surgery. What followed was every parent’s nightmare — complication after complication, more surgeries, more pain. One of the most serious moments was when his brain shunt had to be replaced with a different type draining fluid into his chest — a decision that carried enormous risk.

Over the course of his nine years of life, Noah has undergone a total of 30 surgeries, including 20 surgeries on his brain alone. In 2024 alone, he underwent four major operations. From August 2023 until August 2025, Noah lived almost continuously in hospital. Instead of school, friends, and childhood, he knew hospital beds, operating theatres, seizures, and pain.

Despite everything, Noah keeps fighting.

He is now waiting for yet another major operation in the coming months in London . We are doing everything in our power to help him regain as much comfort and mobility as possible — so that his life can be more than just surviving.

Right now, Noah urgently needs a specialised pram Balto — one that is safe, supportive, and gentle on his fragile body. Unfortunately, the NHS cannot provide this pram . We have received a full cost estimate, and the price is simply beyond our reach.

We are a family of six, with four children, and only one parent able to work. There is no way for us to afford this pram on our own.

But this pram is not a luxury.
It is freedom.
It is dignity.
It is safety — especially important due to Noah’s frequent seizures.

The pram balto is specially designed for children like Noah. Have special place for tank oxygen, pulse oximeter, medical suction device, It supports his spine, holds his body securely, and uses straps that do not damage his extremely sensitive skin — skin that has already suffered severe complications after surgery. The pram will also grow with him and can support him for many years. In this pram you can change positions, so Noah will also be safe if he has an epileptic seizure.

Without it, Noah is trapped at home.
Without it, we cannot safely take him outside.
Without it, his world becomes smaller and smaller.

As parents, all we want is for Noah to feel the air outside, to be part of family life, to attend hospital appointments safely, and to have moments of peace beyond pain and fear.

We will include the pram balto cost estimate in this fundraiser for full transparency.

If you can help — even in the smallest way — you are giving Noah a chance at comfort, dignity, and a life beyond the hospital.

If you cannot donate, please consider sharing Noah’s story.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with us.
