On behalf of the Kellert family, we are heartbroken to share that Aila, a loving young mother, wife, daughter, and friend, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. She leaves behind her husband Josh, two beautiful children, Hadassah and Leo and brand-new baby Sheppard who is currently in the NICU in Edmonton.

This loss has devastated everyone who knew her. Aila was the light of her family—kind, selfless, and full of love. She was the most incredibly loving mother and dreamed of watching her children grow. Her absence has left a void that can never be filled.

We are raising funds to help relieve the overwhelming financial burden now placed on this young family. Donations will go toward funeral expenses, newborn expenses, travel, childcare, and giving Josh the support he needs to be present for his children during this impossibly difficult time.
