Hello everyone,

I really don’t know how to start this. My mom was taken to the hospital the day after Christmas for what she thought were allergies at first and then possibly a virus that had been going around. After running tests and CT scans, they found a large mass. They did a biopsy and discovered she had cervical cancer. Surgery was planned and she was to get chemotherapy after the surgery as well dialysis. She has had two blood transfusions but they can’t seem to get her where she needs to be physically to have the surgery or chemo. It’s no longer an option. She is being discharged today and will have home hospice. All we know is the cancer is aggressive.

.Ticket prices to fly back to Texas are incredibly expensive, and frankly, I don’t have the money. A flight from Incheon International Airport to San Antonio, Texas costs between 2,000-3,000USD. I’m looking at budget ticketing and will contact airlines as suggested to see what resources are available to me.

The Threads community suggested I create a GFM to help with flight cost so I can spend time with my mom.
