Hello,

My fiancé, Jacob, and I were recently blessed to become engaged, and we are sincerely hoping to celebrate our marriage later this year. As we begin planning for this next chapter, we are doing so while balancing significant responsibilities. I am currently both a full-time student and a full-time employee, while Jacob consistently works overtime. Together, we maintain our home, care for our two beloved pets, and help support my younger sister.

Like many, we are navigating the rising costs of living. Working in the food service industry, we each earn $16 per hour or less, and while we have done our best to live within our means, it has made setting aside savings for a wedding challenging. We are proud of the life we have built together and grateful that we have been able to remain stable, but with upcoming changes—including an increase in rent and a transition to a new position with variable income as I complete my education—our financial flexibility is becoming more limited.

A wedding is not a necessity, but it is something that holds deep meaning for us. Our hope is not for anything extravagant, but simply for the opportunity to celebrate our commitment and union with those we love. At the end of the day, my greatest wish is to marry my best friend and begin our life together as partners.

We understand that not everyone is in a position to give, and we are deeply appreciative of any consideration, kindness, or support offered. Every contribution, no matter the size, would help us move closer to making this meaningful milestone possible.

Through long hours, life changes, and personal sacrifices, we have remained committed to one another—growing from best friends into soulmates, and now, future life partners.
