After losing their 16 year old rescue dog, my Uncle Red and Aunt Charlene decided to rescue again. Zuzu is a 6 year old Golden Retriever that spent most of her life as a mama at a puppy mill. Unfortunately, without proper care at the mill, she now has two intestinal parasites, yeast in her ears, and heartworm. Heartworm is a serious disease that can result in severe lung disease, heart failure, organ damage, and death if left untreated. Treatment also just happens to be very expensive. We're asking for help to pay for this difficult treatment for a sweet dog that deserves to live a long and healthy life with a good family. The vet has quoted the treatment at $2,000, but anything to help treat Zuzu is much appreciated. <3
