Zuwena Machano's Heath and Wellness Support

After a few years with a pacemaker, Zuwena Machano was recently diagnosed with heart failure and is currently on the waitlist for a heart transplant. A UBCO Alumni who graduated with merit, Zuwena recently returned to Canada from Zanzibar to have access to better healthcare and undergo surgery. The funds requested with go toward her medication, housing and food for the next few months as she awaits surgery.
