Chris Lewis Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Hello Friends, Family, and Fellow GoFundMe Supporters,
On November 1st, my beloved son, Chris Lewis, succumbed to fatal injures as a result of a tragic car accident that occurred October 27th.
For those of you who did not get the opportunity to know my son, please keep reading..................
Chris was not just my son; he was a 34 year old man that was also a grandson, brother, uncle, father, and to many, a beloved friend. My son lived his life on his terms. He listened, but did not take advice. He did not conform to social "norms," but he was not a rebel. He was a free-spirit who lived in the present, and again, on his terms.
Chris was more than kind.........his soul radiated with a type of love that you could feel when you were with him. And without question, he would do anything (and I truly mean ANYTHING) to help someone in need. Chris gave the best hugs to anyone who needed one. He was able to lift one's spirit when they were down and out. And Chris would make sure that you were smiling and/or laughing when you were with him. He could enter a room and brighten it with his smile, his attitude, or just his presence alone. He had "it", but more than anything I could try and write about him, for the last nine years he lived life for his precious daughter Sammy.
Due to this unforeseen and unexpected life event, many of my friends and family have reached out asking how to help. So in preparation for known upcoming funeral, burial, and accrued medical expenses thus far, I have created this GoFundMe account in hopes of covering some of the costs.
Donations of any domination would be greatly appreciated. Please know that any contributions remaining (after covering expenses), will be put into a trust for Chris' daughter (Sammy).
One final request - I would love and appreciate if everyone could share this fundraiser with your friends and family.
I want to thank everyone who has already reached out to me. I am grateful and blessed to have so much love and support.
