My name is Theresa Chapman. My father is Mike Esmond. My Mother is Eileen Esmond. My sister is Christine Bowen and Kathleen Furr. I tell you this because I am "social media free". So through my family's social media accounts , I am hoping to raise enough money to give one of God's very special creatures, a chance at life; and maybe even a great one at that...
I live in Kennesaw Ga. Last week while my mother and I were on our way to Florida, we stopped for gas and saw this severely neglected, stray do,g in a parking lot of a circle K in Montgomery Alabama. Needless to say, our hearts wept for him. I watched him look directly in the eyes of each stranger passing by him, as if to say, "if its not too much trouble, can you please help me ?" He was defeated. He didn't ask to be born. Especially into a world to simply suffer...

I was more than shocked when he let me approach and touch him. Not an ounce of aggression. Since his skin was so bad from loss of hair, sores, and the elements, we managed (creatively!) to find some clothes for him and wrapped him up.

I was somehow able to convince a complete stranger to let me and this helplessness dog, jump in the back of their pick up truck and take us to the nearest animal hospital. They did! (These people were ANGELS ON EARTH) They took us to " VCA Carriage Hills Animal Hospital and Pet Resort, in Montgomery Al. ( p [phone redacted]). He has been there ever since.

They say he is only less than a year old! He will be there until he is good enough to leave So far it has been 6 days. The Vet worries he may have been poisoned from, rat bait, gorilla glue or perhaps antifreeze. However, each day, he is making progress!

We have named him Thornwell Dunlop. Our medical expenses for him have already exceeded 2,700.00. It is estimated his care will be anywhere from 3 to 6 more months to get him well, before he is ideally adoptable.
Will you please help me help him have a chance at life?
If you or anyone you know would like to learn more about Thornwell Dulop, his condition or are interested in his future adoption, please call me at (678) 372- 3648 and I will give you all we know about this gentle puppy.

Sometimes, it is indescribable what can happen to the most innocent among us. This is one of those times.
With sincerest gratitude for your support for Thornwell,
Theresa Chapman
