Zuri took a bad spill on a lime (electric scooter) on July 24th. She had to go to the emergency room and had 12 stitches in her chin, and discovered she had broken bones in her jaw, cheek, and wrist! 

She was sent home after being stitched up, but had to return to the hospital just hours later due to her pain level being so high she was unable to swallow.

Mandible surgery was performed Mon. 7/27 and took just over 7 hours to put metal plates into both sides of her jaw. She may need wrist surgery too, which she will find out Friday. She has been staying at the hospital to keep her out of pain and to get IV fluids because it hurts to swallow. Zuri likely won’t be able to work at her warehouse job for awhile until her wrist is healed. Please donate anything you can to help her in these difficult times.
