ZURI needs your help! ♥️ Day 7

Zuri passed away this morning at about 9 am. I was on my way to see her. My heart is broken. She was the sweetest girl ♥️

Thank you so much for your prayers, thoughts & support.

She fought. I’m just so sad she suffered ♥️

She was in 24 hour care from Sunday night to Sunday morning.

She had Surgery on Tuesday.

The vets tried everything

UPDATE:

ZURI has been in ER 24 hour care since Sunday.

TODAY she is critical Guarded prognosis.

Bringing in an Internal Specialist this am.

A central line was out in last night

I rushed ZURI to the emergency vet Sunday night after seeing her urinating non-stop blood. She had thrown up & stopped eating

Xrays and ultrasound showed that she had a blockage in her intestine and needed surgery, but she was not stable enough.

For the next 24 hours they worked on stabilising her for surgery and then she went through a very invasive two hour surgery Tuesday morning. The surgeon told me she had a 20% chance to live because of where the sock was lodged in her intestine. But she made it !

Not only did they remove a sock from her intestine, but they also removed two very large bladder stones.

There has been other complications since surgery, and she is still in 24 hour care & they said she definitely needs to stay another 24 hours at minimum.

Her drainage is 10 times the amount of what it should. She has a feeding tube. Today they are doing more bloodwork and x-rays to see if there’s something they’re missing.

Between the 24 hour care and the surgery I have already paid over $12,000, and now Im ansking for help. Anything helps! even $10!

My girl is fighting & I can’t give up now!
