Spenser I Trapp Memorial Fund

The memorial tree planting will be held on Septemeber 28 at 6pm in the court yard in front of the art building on the campus of Sussex County Community College, in Newton NJ.
Pictured is the prayer labyrinth was created by Spenser Ian Trapp, who died tragically from injuries sustained in a vehicular accident on 2/21/16 at only 20 yrs. young. He designed this as his Eagle Scout community project.
Spenser had a huge heart for others and always found a way to help anyone in need. He and his family suffered tremendous losses after lightening destroyed their home last April, and they are still displaced. Just a few short days after the fire, Spenser was the victim of a head-on collision, which he miraculously survived. God wasn't ready for him then! This time, however, God took his Angel in another tragic accident. Though we may never understand God's plan, we are inspired to carry Spenser's memory and vision forward by planting a japanese cherry tree at the College for the community to enjoy. We hope also to set up a scholarship in his name.
As we mourn the loss of our son, Spenser Ian Trapp, we are reaching out to friends and family to help us launch a memorial fund in his honor. The Spenser I. Trapp Memorial Fund is designed to recognize students who give back to the communities in which they live. The fund reflects Spenser’s independent, entrepreneurial spirit, and will help other students realize their own goals and achieve their dreams of becoming entrepreneurs.
The donations will also be used to provide a community to re set up a prayer labyrinth. Everyone who knew and loved Spenser recognized his kindness and generous ability to help anyone in need and his desire to build a stronger, sustainable community.
We hope you can support us through this incredibly devastating time. Your contributions, prayers and well wishes are greatly appreciated.
