Hi,
My name is Nhi Tran and I am married to my beautiful wife, Carol. I am a small business owner of a Hair and Nail salon and my wife is an accountant for the Federal Government. We are lucky to have and support each other through everything, and most importantly, we love to help our families and friends, especially through their most difficult times. We are here today because one of our closest friends, Mr. Cuong Lien, who is almost like family to us, is going through the most unbearable time of his life with throat cancer. Mr. Lien is  essentially clinging on to hopes of living another day and does not have much time left. Mrs. Lien is not doing so well either due to her lung cancer resurfacing again. Mr. Lien has about another month to live due to his recently discovered throat cancerlate in 2015. He underwent over 33 radiation treatments in December 2015 and was also seen for pleural effusion with fluid surrounding in his lungs.  His wife, Mrs. Lien, is unable to fully care for him as she is still battling her lung cancer. They have 3 children - the oldest came to the U.S about 4 years ago who is working hard to provide a living for his parents and for his 2 year old son. They also have 2 other children living in Vietnam that are trying to grasp the whole situation from abroad and are making every attempt to make it to the U.S. to visit their father before it’s too late. 

I am raising money for them:  First, i want Mr. Lien to know that there are good people around him and that his wife can live in peace because we are all here for his wife to help her battle with her lung cancer when he passes. Secondly, I would like the funds raised tohelp out with funeral costs. (I believe in miracle and hope that miracle happens to Mr.Lien).

I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to help Mrs. Lien to see her doctors almost every day for over 3 months  during her lung cancer treatment back in 2012 and during this time, I learned the true cost of fighting cancer. She got better and was in chemotherapy but overtime, she has been getting worse. Since then,  Mr. Lien’s throat cancer was recently diagnosed and has undergone surgery in August 2015. Today, Mr. Lien is not so lucky. The doctors delayed his surgery, which caused his cancer to spread further, andnow he's fighting for his last breath. 

For us, money is just a number, but for them, it shows love. Your donations mean a lot to them. On behalf of Mrs. and Mr. Lien, my wife and I want to kindly and respectfully consider helping this family, whether it’s $5 or $100, every dollar would be helpful.
