As many of you know, the Brunson family just welcomed two adorable twin girls into the world on February 1st at 30 weeks gestational age. Unfortunately, baby Hailey was called to heaven that same day. Her twin sister Halle is currently in the NICU at University of Denver and she is a trooper to say the least.

What you may not know is that the Brunson family has already endured an incredibly difficult time over the last several months. The family has been doing everything in their power to save the baby girls, especially after Brandy's water broke at 15 weeks. Brandy was put on hospital bed rest on December 15th at University of Denver (50 miles from their home). The family had to celebrate Christmas, New Years and other life milestones from Brandy's hospital room. They have two other children at home which has made life hard with child care and school events. Chad has been working as much as he can and making the 100 mile round trip to visit Brandy as often as possible. Brandy also suffered from tachycardia, a small blood clot in her lung and other pregnancy complications. Following the birth of her baby girls, Brandy is being discharged from the hospital but will still be closely monitored by her primary care physician. Now, the family will continue the trek to visit their baby girl, Halle, who will remain in the NICU. They hope to have her transferred to a local hospital but are awaiting many things to fall into place to do so (most importantly Halle must be a certain size and strength before travel).

Our goal is to raise funds to alleviate the financial strain from their family. Maxing out their insurance, traveling countless times to and from the hospital (100 miles round trip), paying for meals on the go and managing child care has all incurred costs and we would like to rally around them and alleviate some of that stress from them so they can focus on their family.
