Zulqarnain Haider

Zulqarnain Haider passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in December 2023 at 14 years old.

Zulq will be known to many as a champion athlete at Keilor Little Athletics. His achievements are truly remarkable, including being Victorian and Australian champion in a number of events, and the holder of several Victorian and Australian records. He was extremely determined and hardworking, and despite all his success on the track, Zulq remained remarkably humble and displayed true sportsmanship. Zulq’s determination and achievements were an inspiration to all who saw him compete, and he will be remembered as a true champion and a gentleman.

Following Zulq’s passing, his family have needed to stay overseas for a period of grieving before returning to Australia. We are raising funds to support Zulq’s family; his parents Hussain and Hemeed, and his siblings – Sajidain, Rayyan, Nida and Amal, through financial assistance at this difficult time. All donations will go directly to the Haider family so they can be used immediately to cover expenses.
