Zuleyka Sanchez

We lost a beautiful soul on January 15, 2024, at 7 years old. Zuleyka was a vibrant, outgoing, 6 year old when she was sadly and suddenly diagnosed with an aggressive, inoperable brain tumor. Within a couple months, Zuleyka began losing function of her left side. However, this didn’t stop her from attending 1st grade at Kyrene de la Sierra a couple days each week. She loved learning, writing notes to her friends, unicorns, rainbows, spending time with her parents, siblings and all her family. Zuleyka was a bright light in our world with the most beautiful smile. She spent her last days at home surrounded by family members, friends, teachers and so much love.
