At 18 years old, I’m about to take the biggest leap of my life — moving across the country on my own to start fresh and build a future for myself. This isn’t just a move, it’s a complete restart. I’m leaving behind everything familiar to chase independence, stability, and the chance to grow into the person I know I can become.

Starting over from scratch comes with a lot of challenges. I’m working hard to secure housing, cover travel expenses, and get on my feet in a brand-new place where I don’t yet have a support system. I’m determined to make this work, but I can’t do it entirely alone.
