You know how they say most people are a paycheck away from being out on the street? Well, it's true.

In the month of July, I have lost my job of over seven years, been hospitalized, been told my unemployment qualification was still "pending" and received notice that I will be evicted in as little as two weeks.

In my industry, the summer is the leanest time of the year. My job prospects are weak. I've applied across town and Pinellas County, too. I am down to my last hundred dollars for gas and food.

The amount I'm asking covers rent, late fees and lawyer fees to prevent the eviction. I'll worry about my electric and phone bill later.

My pride is out the window. I need my home. I don't want to see my belongings out on the lawn. Any donation would be helpful. Thank you.
