#BJJ4Oceans: Houston BJJ Blue Belt for Ocean Conservancy
Hi, I’m Nathan Bedingfield a Houston-based BJJ blue belt, earned April 2025, under Carlos Machado. With support from Machado, Andrew Tackett, and Brandon McCaghren—who’ve invited me to roll—I’m launching #BJJ4Oceans, a 90-day personal campaign to raise $50,000 for Ocean Conservancy through a BJJ charity challenge.
Why? To fight plastic pollution and climate change with cleanups, habitat protection, and policy advocacy. I’ll train and promote BJJ matches (details TBD), donating $25,000 personally if we don’t hit $50,000.
Your support makes waves: $25 funds cleanups, $50 protects habitats, $100 drives policy change.
