Zucchini Kill is opening a retail shop! We make small batch organic, gluten/soy free, vegan baked goods! We use a gluten free commisary kitchen in South Austin, but until now you've only been able to purchase our stuff at pop up markets and a select few bars/food trucks. But now...we have found the perfect location for a small store front which will sell our products daily! This is a retail shop, so we will also be selling a selection of gluten free/vegan ingredients, drinks, merchandise, and locally made bath, body, kitchen and home products. We are so excited this store front will give us the space we need to accomodate custom orders, increase our variety of baked goods, expand an online store, and give local artists/crafters/creators a space for their products to be readily available to the public. We are located in the North Loop Business District in the same lot as our BFF's Bistro Vonish and The Great Y'all, making this officially a new one stop shop for hungry vegans in North Austin! Also, with this new store front we will have a permanent space to host markets and holiday celebrations!
We've spent the past year and a half developing all our recipes and sharing our sweets with you all across Austin, but now we need you to help us finish a buildout in this new space! We can be open as early as mid- August if we are able to get this supplemental funding from those of you who appreciate what we are doing!
Specific items we need are dessert/drink refrigerators and reach in freezer, shelving and paint, signs and promotional materials, packaging for all our baked goods (part of this being a retail shop means our products will be pre packaged for consumption), as well as new merchandise and inventory. We also have some important things to fix/replace including the entire front door and its frame.
Please if you can help us with any amount at all, we will be forever grateful. We really want to provide for the amazing community here in Austin, and we promise to do our best for you!!! Anyone who donates $10 will be able to come pick up one of our famous Twinkies free of charge by the end of the year. We've seen how you've looked at our awesome wood-burned spoons we sell at markets around town. Now you can get one for free (with a donation of 50 dollars)!! Anyone who is able to donate $100 will receive a Zucchini Kill shirt and assorted merch box (shipping included if non local). Anyone who is generous enough to donate $1,000 or more will receive a large box of baked goods, a large box of our merch (shipping available to U.S. addresses only) AND Free Cupcakes for a whole year (2 per visit!)!!!
