I am Nasser, 42 years old.

After my home was destroyed in the war, my family and I found ourselves living in a simple tent that provided no protection from the cold of the night or the heat of the day.

I used to work in agriculture, growing oranges and tomatoes by hand. My land was my only source of income, but the bombing completely destroyed it, as did my life and dreams.

Today, I live with my wife and four children: Mohammed (11 years old), Jannah (9 years old), Yazan (8 years old), and Adam (1 year and 7 months old), the little boy who still smiles despite all the pain surrounding us.

We live in constant fear of the ongoing bombing. Whenever my children hear the sound of a plane in the sky, they tremble with terror and rush to their mother's arms. I try to appear strong, even though my heart trembles with fear for them.
