On July 24, 2024, our beloved dad, Carlos, left this earth to be with his heavenly father, thus leaving us with a giant hole in our hearts. While he fought a brave fight against the pains of cancer, he never let diagnosis that define or change him. He was still completely in love with our mom, and the happiest when he had his family around him. Even when he was hurting, he was always putting our family’s needs before his own. He was special… a kind, generous and compassionate man, who sincerely lived by his strong faith. If you were in need, he would give you the shirt off his back, even if it was the only shirt he had.

If ever you came to through our front door, he made sure to treat you like a member of the family. He became your second dad, always greeting you with a smile, hug and a check on how you were doing. You always felt welcomed and cared for… that was just who he was.

It’s hard for us to imagine our lives without him in it. As we navigate this hardship, we are asking for prayers and support. We would genuinely appreciate any support you are able to provide to help us get through this challenging time in order to help him rest in peace. We miss you so much Dad. It’s not the same without you. Rest in Peace, Dad.
