Support Kelli in her fight against cancer

Donation protected
This year has not been kind to many of us in our community. Tragedies and hardships that have come in so many different shapes and sizes. No exceptions here. So here we are, creating this page to help one of those families that’s been hit.

Kelli Eckelberg, a very dedicated military wife and loving mother of three, was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma. After further testing, she was told that the cancer is what you call “triple negative”. Not the news we were wanting to hear. Bottom line, she has to fight a little longer and harder. But she keeps her chin up and continues to fight every day.

Kelli is such a selfless, loving, understanding and kind person. She makes anyone feel comfortable in any situation. Always giving and never asking. To know her is to truly love her. The Eckelberg family has served this country, their church and their community for many years. We are hoping that everyone can come together and show them the same selflessness, love and generosity that they have given others.

Kelli has to undergo six months of chemotherapy before her oncology team can begin surgeries and further treatments. Full treatment and recovery is expected to last about one year. Kelli is not able to work during this time as her position at work requires more physical effort than she can provide. So as you can imagine, this is a very stressful time for her family.

We would like to help the them by alleviating some of the financial burden they are feeling due to loss of income and increase of expenses such as medical bills and costs associated with treatments. (Plus they have an active teenager in the house and you know how expensive that can be! Lol)

Although her family is trying to stay positive and strong during these times, it is tough none the less. Help us lessen the weight on their shoulders so that they can focus on the fight at hand...to beat this cancer and continue to live the life that they’ve worked so hard to build. Any donation of any size is so greatly appreciated. If you are not able to donate funds, please share this and pray for her and her family. We humbly appreciate all your support, generosity and prayers.
