A Christmas Wish for Walter

Hi, my name is Mark. My wife Lisa and I walk our daughter to school every day. For the last year and a half, we stop and chat with Walter. Walter is Ava’s school’s crossing guard. He is just the kindest soul. He always has a smile on his face and an undeniable positive attitude. Walter is out there in the wind, the cold, the extreme heat, and even in the rain but he’s always out there with a smile. He keeps the kids safe, every single day.

With our daily walks to school, Walter has shared some of his life's challenges. Recently we learned that he has not been able to see his son or granddaughter in 3+ years. First, it was Covid related, and now it's financial. Like many Americans, Walter lives a frugal life but is struggling to make ends meet. He also does not have enough savings to visit his family or have a nice Christmas. We were originally going to just gift him some money for the holiday, but we figured, why not try a go fund for him? Anything you can give would be appreciated. He is truly worthy and will be immensely appreciative. If you know Walter... please keep this a secret... we want to surprise him :)
