Kelly’s Fight Against Breast Cancer

As many of you know, my best friend Kelly was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. We have been best friends long enough that we are family at this point , and I am watching her battle this disease and keep her head high and spirits up. The strength we have always seen in our friend is really working over time lately , and be assured , she’s winning this battle.

Treatment has begun and she is tolerating chemotherapy as best as one can. She is still trying to work between treatments when she is physically able, her paid time off has run out and the medical bills are piling in. It is difficult to afford these on top of the regular financial responsibilities and providing for her son. We are asking for donations, no amount too small. For those not in a comfortable enough spot financially to donate , please continue to pray for a smooth recovery through chemo, surgery and then radiation.

Kelly is a Registered Nurse and has spent most of her life helping others and is always there for any friends and family who needs help or support. To know Kelly, is to know her strength and resilience. The road ahead will be tough but Kelly will persevere.. as always. The support she’s received from family , friends and coworkers has been constant and has helped keep her spirits up. Thank you.
